Kenny's shopping spree

Ok so any of you who know Ken and know how he gets when he gets low blood sugar will appreciate this story. To nights dinner was chicken fettichinii, except at about 11:00 this morning I remember that we didn't have any chicken. Ken got off work earlier than me so I called him up and asked him if he would please run to Macey's and grab us some chicken for dinner. This is what he came home with...

I probably shouldn't repeat what I said when I opened the pantry and saw all of this crap food starring back at me...Kenny quickly apologized like this. "I know I am so sorry! This is what happens when I got shopping when my blood sugar is low." Wow, boys and girls, wow!

I might be in love with a Vampire...

Ok first of all sorry about the video that I tried to post of Grizzly pouncing. Apparently I was trying to stretch my skills a little to far. I have no idea how to post a video. Help anyone???

Now lets talk about how great the Twilight, New moon, and Eclipse series are...Wow! If any of you gals have not read these books yet, you need to step away from the computer, load yourself up in the car and drive down to Barns and Noble immediately! I PROMISE you will not be disappointed. I realize you may have your doubts, a book about a high school romance between a girl and a vampire may sound strange. But don't judge a book by it's bazaar story line:) Before you know it you will have yourself your own crush on Edward the vampire.

This is me, happy as a dove, as I was just beginning the new release Eclipse. Needless to say I basically finished the book that very night. I am telling you gals-delish!

Grizzly Pounce

This is a little home video of Grizzly ferociously pouncing a pair of socks. He is the ruler of his little kingdom that's for sure.

FHE

So last week for our little family home evening, Kenny, Grizzly and I packed up a
little dinner and headed up to our new favorite hang out. It is a little reservoir up American Fork canyon. We kind of found it on accident a few weeks ago, and now I seriously am in love with it. It is right up against the mountains and is surrounded by lush pine trees. The pictures really don't show just how beautiful this place is. Ken loves it because it is about 20 degrees cooler up there. It has a pretty little stream that runs into it and it is full of fun colorful rocks. We take off our shoes, walk up and down it and practice our throwing skills as we pick targets to try to hit with the pebbles. Grizz hates that water because it is pretty cold, or really probably just because he is a total wuss about water. I don't know what it is about this place, but the sweet peace that I feel there is hard to find in this crazy world.

BFF's

The Dental Hygiene Class of 2007 had a little reunion lunch this week! After 4 long months of being apart, I got to see some of my favorite people in the world! We met at Kneaders, had ourselves a delicious lunch, and chatted for about 3 hours! It was wonderful. We stayed there forever, which was great because every time they brought out a new sample of bread I helped myself:) It was hard to say goodbye because we don't get to see each other near as often as we did in the good ol' days, and everyone is starting to scatter. So here is a shout out to The Revolution. I love you all!!!

Lagoon....It's what fun is!

Ken and I went to Lagoon with some of my family yesterday. Neither of us had been for about 8 years, so we were definately due. We rode all of the "big rides" and laughed at the mullets, sweet tats and wife beaters. Lagoon sure does attract a sweet crowd. We also decided that Lagoon should change their moto from "Lagoon...it's what fun it." to "Long lines, short rides...Lagoon".
Now I am totally bashing but we actually had A TON of fun! It was a perfect way to spend a summer Saturday. Britt and Jas-thanks for planning and inviting us. We love you!
My mom and two of my sisters in line for "The Bat"

Mommas brought us a delish home made lunch!
Ahhhh... who doesn't love to bite into a juicy summer watermelon?

Ken and Jason getting ready to be catapulted 150 feet into the air. Rock on!

Go Owlz!

A few weeks ago this clan all went out for a night on the town! We ate at Bajios and the hit up the Provo Owlz. It was a dang fun night, even though our team lost by one. After the game they hosted a movie night out on the field. We snuggled close to our honeys and watched a sweet little baseball flick. (I can't think of the name of it right now, but it was actually kind of cheesey). I love hanging out with Ken's friends from high school! They are so much fun. Here is a shout out to Mike and Andrea, who finally got engaged last week! Welcome to the family Andrea! We could not be more excited for you two!

The Johnson family blog!

Ok so it is true. I have fought it for so long, but we have finally jumped on the blogging ban-wagon. I am not sure what I will blog about or who will care enough to check in on us, but here it is!
