It has been an eventful week for the Johnson bunch. We finally finished our home improvement project of painting our kitchen cabinets. Wow! It was definitely a project, but they turned out great and we're glad we did it. I just made Ken promise that if I ever talk of doing such things again he will say "McKenzie, remember the kitchen cabinets. Repeat after me...You are not Martha Stewart and I am not Tim Taylor." Yea we will see how long that last since I am already seeing more I would like to do in our little home.
My sister had her sweet Baby Berklie last night!!!! Mom and baby are healthy and beautiful. It was so fun to bring her other daughter Reagan to the hospital to meet her little sister for the first time. She was EX STATIC! She ran down the hospital hall yelling "my baby Berklie came out! My baby Berklie came out!" It was such a fun night to be a part of. Childbirth is nothing short of a miracle.
It is Grizzly's 1st birthday today! We had big plans for him, but the FREEZING cold weather has kind of put a damper on things. Anyways it is crazy that he has been a part of our little family for that long. We love him to pieces-even though he pulled an escape and got lost for like 15 minutes today. I thought he had gone and gotten himself killed on his birthday:)
Another excitement this week was Mike and Andrea's wedding. They had the most beautiful reception in history! It totally made me want to get married again:) Congrats again you guys! We love you!
And last but certainly not least... TV's biggest premiere week! Hallah for Greys Anatomy, Dancing with the Stars, The Office, Prison Break, and Desperate Housewives. Thanks the heavens for Tivo!
BEFORE...
AFTER...This picture doesn't do it justice. It really is cute, I promise.

The Birthday Boy-He kind of looks like a orphan dog here because he is in suck desperate need of a groomin'.

Well today is mine and Kenny's 2.5 year anniversary. Yep we have been hitched a whoppin' 30 months today. I know that is kind of a lame anniversary to be celebrating, which we really aren't doing anything out of the usual today, but I thought it to, at the least, be note worthy for our blog. So sweets...this post is for you. Thanks for the best two and a half years of my life. You are my best friend in the whole world and my life would feel empty without you in it.
10 Reason's why I love Kenny Scott...
1. He fell in love with me, flaws and all!
2. He is the HARDEST worker I have ever known.
3. This morning when he saw me for the first time, he said "Wow babe, you are looking so good today!" Important to note that I was in my frumpy, old scrubs that he has seen a million times!
4. I have NEVER NEVER NEVER heard him complain.
5. He loves our dog Grizzly-he even lets him snuggle up to him all night long.
6. He is a spiritual rock.
7. He loves his Mom and treats her well.
8. He has ENDLESS amounts of patience(except for with bad drivers..hey he can't be 100% perfect)
9. He watches Desperate Housewives and Gray's Anatomy with me.
10. He always compliments my cooking, even if it doesn't deserve it.
11. I know, I know I said this would only be a list of 10, but I just have to add one more. I love Kenny because he is a brown haired, blue eyed masterpiece! You're the sexiest thing I know!

Girls just wanna have fun...
Last weekend my three sisters, our mom and I all went to Park City for our Girls Weekend! We had so much fun just shopping, eating, going to movies, laughing, and eating some more. We ate at Baja Cantina (delish!) the first night. There is a picture of my oldest sister Brittney in her birthday sombrero. Why is that whole embarrassing restaurant singing thing so funny when it is not to you?? That night we went to the late showing of Nanny Diaries (pretty cute movie). I can't tell you how long it's been since I went to the 10:00 movie. I am surprised I stayed awake the whole time. The next day we walked up and down main street, drove around and looked at beautiful homes, shopped at the outlets and ate at Ruby Tuesdays. Even though we were with each other all weekend it still took us about an hour to say good-bye and separate. I don't think we could ever run out of things to talk about. I am so lucky that my mom and sisters are also my best friends.
PS: Laura we missed you:( We have already decided that next year it's going to be Girls Weekend in Durango Colorado. So see ya there!

Fully Invested!
Well many of you know that Kenny is amongst the truest of BYU football fans. I cannot even explain to you how excited he has been for the upcoming season. My mom and dad invited us to join them for the opening game yesterday. It was an all day affair as we started with a tailgate party (pictured below) with friends and family It was a toasty hot day, but we had a blast. The cougs played exceptionally well and finished victorious!! Thanks heavens for that or it would have been a LONG ride home with the Ken-Dog. :) A great start to a brand new season. Go Cougs!
Doing the wave!
