Husband Tagged
My cute friend Andrea tagged my a few weeks ago. Here is a little insight into the man I call my husband! He just happened to turn 27 last week, so while we're at it lets throw out a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENNY!
Here goes:
1. What is his name? Kenny Scott
2. Who eats more? Sadly....me by far! When we go out to restaurants and he finishes eating, he will just instinctively slide his plate over to my side of the table bc he knows I am going to eat his leftovers.
3. Who said I love you first? He did. Well kind of. He was a little nervous so I think he was testing the waters to make sure I loved him back. He said "Kenz, I think I'm falling in love with you" And then I said "Good! Because I am definitely in love with you!" Then I remember he didn't stop smiling the rest of the night.
4. Who is taller? He is by a few inches.
5. Who is smarter? He would say I am, but it's not so! I know a lot about a few things, but he know a little bit about everything. Which I love!
6. Who is more sensitive? Haha! Anyone who know us both will probably chuckle a little at this question. I am hands down!!
7.Who does the laundry? Kenny does. What a stud.
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you are standing at the foot of the bed looking at it, he does. It's closer to the door-protection!
9. Who pays the bills? He does mostly.
10. Who cooks more? I do. I actually love to cook! It's the grocery shopping that I hate!
11. What meals do you cook together? BBQ's dinners. He is a master on the grill! He'll man the main coarse while I whip up some side dishes. We have been doing a lot of that lately!
12. Who is more stubborn? We are both extremely stubborn! Something we are trying to work on.
13. Who is the first to admit they're wrong? Ken. I am never wrong.
14. Who has more siblings? Me.
15. Who wears the pants in the relationship? That is an interesting question to think about. I have been sitting here pondering it for about two mins now. I think it's a tie. We work together.
16. What do you like to do together? Go on bike rides, go running, watch movies (or the dozens of TV series that we're addicted too), eat, travel, play games, and play Hide and Seek with Grizzly.
17. Who eats more sweets? One guess... ME! I think I ate my weight in peanut butter M&M's this week.
18. Guilty pleasures? We both love sleeping in.
19. How did you meet? Singles ward.
20. Who asked who out first? I think I invited him over to our apartment first. But our first official "date" was orchestrated by him...We watched Rocky 4. Enough said.
21. Who kissed who first? He kissed me first. I was so nervous!
22. Who proposed? Kenny did-up to that point, it was the happiest day of my life!
23. His best features? Hard to pick. I love his arms, back, lips, and that striking dimpled chin!
24. What is his greatest quality? He is such a heard worker! When he sets his mind to something there is no turning back. He is also quite hilarious. It was his fun sense of humor that attracted me to him in the first place. What I love the most about him is that he becomes more and more incredible the more I get to know him. Sometimes he puts off a 'tuff guy' front, but what he has to offer from the inside is nothing short of amazing! I love you Kenny!
25. Tag? Anyone who hasn't done this yet.
Our Lil Garden!
So this year my cute mom got all us kids into SFG AKA Square Foot Gardening. I must admit I was a little skeptical at first. I read the book on it and the authors seemed a little fruity. BUT check out our first garden!!!
I know it seems like kinds of a weird concept, but hey IT WORKS! We planted carrots, cherry tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, cilantro, squash, broccoli, cucumbers, and of coarse lots and lots of tomatoes!! And the best part is THEY ARE ALL GROWING. Seriously this picture was taken right after I planted everything. Now I have some real growth happening. It's kinda nerdy, but we have really gotten into this whole green thumb things. Thanks again to my mama for talking us into this, and getting us started! Happy Gardening!!

Live wElle 5K
A couple Saturdays ago we Ken and I ran in our first 5K of the year. It was to donate to the LivewElle foundation down in Springville. We ran it with Kenny's mom, dad, sister and brother in law. The run started at 7:30 and it was COLD! It wasn't until about mile 2.5 that I felt like I could shed a layer of clothing. Before the race started I asked Ken if he thought it would be fun to run it together. His reply was "Sure babe, I think that'd be great!". As soon as the gun shot blasted he was off like Seabiscuit! You would have thought he was in an olympic event. What can ya say...he is quite the competitor. And don't worry, I got passed by an eight year old girl.
After the race we all headed down to IHOP for a warm stack of pancacks. While we were there I fell in love with their butter pecan syrup! I pretty much drenched every inch of my breakfast in it, and have basically been craving it ever since.
Anyways, we then spent the rest of the day relaxing in the Johnson's backyard. Lots of food, family and fun. It was a great weekend!
